Eyes on Hainan: Hainan's first zero-tariff aircraft clears customs after FTP upgrade
A brand-new Airbus A321neo has become the first aircraft to benefit from Hainan Free Trade Port's zero-tariff policy since island-wide special customs operations began in late 2025. The aircraft, leased by Hainan Airlines, is expected to save nearly 6 million yuan in tariffs during its lease period, highlighting the growing benefits of Hainan's high-level opening-up.
